Cats with armor and weapons?! What is this Neko Busou?

Every April 1st, we are bombarded with ridiculous and crazy revelations or ideas that are instantly refuted the following day. One really crazy idea was when Bandai announced they are making the Neko Busou as a joke. However, due to the overwhelmingly positive reception from fans, they had no choice but make it a reality.

What is Neko Busou?:

Neko Busou literally translates to “Armed Cats”.

It is an easy to assemble model kit that comes with a prepainted and fully detailed cat figure and weapon and armor parts. You can collect different variants and assemble them individually or merge them together and create your own design.

The real fun begins once you start making your own designs.

The parts use Bandai's standard 3mm pegs and connections that offers a number of different combinations. Adding the unique and adorable cat models, it makes Neko Busou a very collectible series for fans of all ages.

1. They can relieve stress. Having a hard time at work? Bring them to the office with you and they’ll surely chase the stress away. A word of warning though, they might also chase off some of your officemates that they deem stressful.

2. They can guard your home. Don’t be fooled by the seemingly harmless equipment that these cats are packing. They can blast away any intruder that tries to sneak into their territory (including you).

3. They can chase away bad spirits. You know how cats are supposed to see things we don’t. And apparently bad spirits are scared and would prefer to stay away from them. Put them under your bed or beside the window for maximum protection.
