Modern retro take on the RX 78
Posted on
Pros:
- Lots of accessories
- Build options for early/middle type
- Great details for an HG, bordering on RG levels
- Superb articulation
Cons:
- Decals get a bit fiddly
- Some small parts
For those looking for a kit of the mecha that started it all, look no further than the Origin RX 78 -02! A perfect blend of modern alterations and retro flair, this kit offers a fun building experience for both novices and veterans alike!
With details to rival those of RGs, this kit offers tons of panel lining opportunities for a more stand-out result!
I certainly recommend this as your first RX 78 kit or as your latest variant, you won't regret building it! -
First HG Kit for Granddaddy
Posted on
Pros:
- Accessories
- Optional parts for 2 versions
- Color accurate
- Solid joints
Cons:
- Decals would always be the insane part in a build
The first HG kit I got for myself when I started gunpla, and you just have to have the granddaddy himself, and luckily it's this particular version that was the only one available for me to have.
The kit that pulled me down into the the gunpla rabbit hole. The accessories, the optional parts that I get to choose for it while building since it has 2 versions.
Just recently did some panel lining and it looked so amazing, and I built my kit with the version 1 parts, I might get a second one just to have the version 2 displayed as well.
