As Qais mentioned in his post 1/144 HG Reconguista in G Gaeon Build (Part 1), he asked our social media followers on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter for their thoughts on whether he should start Gaeon or Elf Bullock. The winner was Gaeon and Elf Bullock didn't even get a single vote... But Elf Bullock is not that bad! To prove it, Ninagawa started to build it while Qais was building his Gaeon. Let's take a look!
Head unit. Eye part is a foil sticker.
Body unit. By the way this Elf Bullock is a perfect kit for panel lining practice. This time I used Pour Type Panel Lining Pen Brown and Orange. You can get both colors from Gundam Marker Pour Type Panel Lining Pen Set.
So it became like this after panel lining. I used Orange for panel lines and Brown for beam muzzles instead of using the foil stickers.
Waist unit. Before and after panel lining. Not much difference though...
Attached to the Body unit. What a weird shape! Cannot stand yet.
From side. Not balanced at all!
Arm units. I enjoyed this panel lining a lot.
This super high shoulders can entirely hide his face.
Leg units. Never ending panel lining...
By the way this is how his leg looks like. No ankle, no feet, but there is a high heel!
This massive stand comes together with the kit. So tall.
With Backpack. He proves that we don't actually need feet to stand still :)
With Beam Saber effect parts from his legs. So this is how we need the super tall stand!
Appearance of this Elf Bullock kit will be totally different if you don't make his panel lines visible. I used lots of Orange this time instead of using regular kind of colors like Brown or Gray, and I'm quite happy with the result :) If you are new to panel lining, I highly recommend this kit for your practice.
